What’s Good About An All Inclusive Holiday?
Take the strain out of a first family or group holiday by having a look at what’s on offer when it comes to all inclusive vacations. There are some very practical benefits in going all-inclusive – particularly if you are someone who relishes a bit of freedom from organizing meals and getting everyone ready to leave the hotel for the restaurant booking.
Freedom
From The Kitchen
The
all-inclusive approach helps to eliminate any unexpected costs for
meals and drinks. Eating out is usually a pleasant experience, but
splitting the bill often requires diplomacy and a calculator – it’s
also a challenge if people have different spending abilities. “You
had the lobster – I had the soup”…If you’re working to a set
budget - paying in advance means that you won’t have any worries
over unexpected meal costs. You can eat at a time that suits you –
a real bonus if you are travelling with young children. Older
children get to take responsibility for choosing their own food from
a fabulous selection of dishes and taste experiences. As for the
adults in the group – they can enjoy the best of the extensive
menus without that sinking feeling when the bill arrives!
Food
Choices
It’s
fabulous to choose from a variety of restaurants – no hassles of
finding a shop for self catering, or hunting for somewhere to eat or
queuing for tables. The majority of all inclusive hotels offer an
international buffet breakfast and luncheon – to be enjoyed indoors
or outside – evening meals are staggered over two dining times and
again, the choice range is huge. Try out the themed dining
experiences and sample dishes from all the Mediterranean countries,
plus Scandinavia, Lebanon, Mexico and Russia to name a few. You’ll
also have opportunity to dine in style in the hotels a’ la’ carte
restaurant. And don’t forget – the pool side operates a bistro
for light meals under the palm trees! There is usually live music on
offer, from strolling bands, or the piano bar, so it makes for a
relaxing end to a day in the sun.
Out
of normal dining hours, you can always get something to eat from the
snack bar, which runs until midnight – so coffee and ice cream by
the pool can extend into drinks by the pool!
You
can arrange to have a pack lunch made up, if you do want to explore
further afield – but it’s great to come back knowing that you
can find something delicious to eat within minutes of your arrival.
To anyone who spends a significant chunk of each day buying,
preparing and cooking food – this is one of the signs of a real
holiday.
Services & Facilities
Barceló hotels and resorts have indoor and outdoor pools, separate children’s’ pool areas, sun loungers and sunshades for protection from the midday sun. There are children’s’ clubs, and secure play areas. You won’t have to travel outside for hair cut, beauty treatment or hunt for a gym – it’s all within the hotel. Sink into an infra-red bath – steam away stresses in the sauna and top up your tan in the solarium. Try out a new beauty treatment or hair cut in the hotel salon. The total break from the normal domestic routine (other than getting up and dressed) is fabulous - you’ll come back from your break away refreshed and rejuvenated.
