Utah

Alta and Snowbird near Salt Lake City, Utah, United states are the stuff of ski legend. Not only is the terrain beautiful, the facilities amazing but it’s the quality of the snow that grabs serious skiers’ attention. The snow looks as though it was produced by Hollywood – it’s the softest, powder in the United States and will make your days up these neighbouring mountains unforgettable.

St Anton
St Anton Am Arlberg has the history of a real challenging array of ski trails and runs. These act like magnets to some of the world’s top skiers as well as the more adventurous amateurs. The other reason why this beautiful place attracts so many great skiers is the après ski which totally rocks! St Anton is a Mecca for the party goer that also likes to ski. There are fantastic bars and nightclubs which can virtually guarantee that a great time will be had by all.

Meribel

Meribel is renowned as one of the top French ski resorts and there are many reasons for this accolade. First is the all important location. It is in the heart of the three valleys that encompass the original Euro ski history. Beautiful mountain views really set the skiing experience off and turn a slow run into a magical experience. Obviously, if shopping and après ski experiences are your things, then Meribel is the place to visit.

Whistler

Whistler is the postcard that you can ski into. The mountain range in British Columbia is a really beautiful place to experience.  The average snowfall is 11.9 metres which is more than enough white for a top day’s skiing. The 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were held in Whistler and the facilities are so good, it is no wonder.

Oberstdorf

Oberstdorf is a ski resort will that you may not have heard of. It is nestled in the mountains of Germany. Between Munich and Stuttgart. This fact alone gives the average traveller motivation to get a flight directly to Germany. Munich is a blast of a city with amazing bars, restaurants, clubs and shops. When the sun sets on the fabulous ski slopes, the city opens up amazing après ski possibilities. For beginners, young or old, Obersdorf offers a great skiing opportunity and a whole heap of other fun.
