Extraordinary Attractions in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, the “Entertainment Capital of the World” attracts millions of people each year.  The scintillating lights, the casinos, the fancy hotels, the fast cars, the livelihood and the general youth of the city are just a few reasons why people visit Las Vegas.  But besides all the glitz and glamour, Las Vegas offers plenty of attractions that are [relatively] family friendly.  For when you get tired of gambling and fine dining, take a break with these “think outside the box” attractions.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation:

This national park attracts more than a million visitors each year.  The park is only 15 miles away from the city of Las Vegas, so if you have an extra day, make a trip out and spend the day in awe.  The Red Rock Canyon isn’t your average park.  Don’t head in expecting a lush forest.  What you should expect is desert beauty.
Red Rock Canyon is made of fossilized sand dunes.  However National Parks Las Vegas tree service does have somewhat of a presence within the park, seeing as the park is home to a variety of native desert plants, trees, coyotes, golden eagles, bobcats, mountain lions and so forth.  If you aren’t a nature person, not to worry, there is a 13 mile scenic drive.  Read on for the next suggestion!

World Class Driving:

Have you ever dreamed of driving a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes SLR McLaren or a Bentley Continental?  Well for a day you can!  World Class Driving is a company that allows you to drive around these bad boys around the track or for a road tour around the Red Rock Canyon.  They offer 4 types of tours starting at $399 for 30 miles and 3 different supercars!  Whether you’re looking for some speed on the tracks or a nice scenic drive, World Class Driving can fulfill your big person dreams.

Jeff Civilico Comedy Show:

Instead of spending your night in a stiff suit or an uncomfortable dress, head over to the Jeff Civilico comedy show for a few laughs.  Civilico was voted best comedy show in Las Vegas by guests on Trip Advisor.  Guests have been more than satisfied with the show and the price tag that comes along.  For less than $30 per person, you get both a show and dinner at Planet Hollywood!  Check out one of his videos to get a glimpse of what is in store for you:

Bellagio Fountains:

The Bellagio is part of the Las Vegas Strip.  It is one of the most famous and popular visited hotels and casinos.  It was inspired by the Bellagio in Lake Como, Italy.  The Bellagio Fountains is one of the main attractions of the hotel.  Essentially it is a large synchronized dancing water fountain.  The show runs everyday at night.  From Monday to Sunday, it runs every half hour from 3pm-7pm, it runs every 15 minutes from 7-midnight.  It is the perfect place to take that special someone, for a girls night out photo, or even for a family stroll after dinner!

Cirque du Soleil:

After you check out the Bellagio Fountains, head inside the Bellagio for an unforgettable performance with the Cirque du Soleil!  The Bellagio has a permanent venue for Cirque du Soleil performances.  Currently, there are 7 shows including “O”, Mystere, The Beatles LOVE, Zumanit, CRISS ANGEL Believe, Viva ELVIS and KA.  The most popular show seems to be “O”, but they all have something great to offer.  Take the family, friends, or spouse to go see some people in awesome costumes doing awesome tricks!
